Dr. Iván Francisco García-Tejero is a researcher of The Agricultural and Fishery Research and Training Institute (IFAPA) and he has participated in many research projects in the area of natural resources at regional, national and EU level. Its main reasearch lines are focused on the land- and water-management interventions in Mediterranean agroforestry systems, with the aim of preventing, reducing or recovering losses of soil, water, and biodiversity. In terms of knowledge and research, his most important works have been focused on sustainable water management, specifically the harmony of sustainable water management practices that encourage productivity, climate-change mitigation, water quality, and sustainable production. In the last five years he has published more than 30 research papers in SCI journals, 58 papers in other technical journals, 4 books, and 50 book chapters. Today he is involved in five national and regional research projects in Spain.
